Here's a couple of pretty heavy-duty dudes that look just about ready to go to the ends of the earth (and back) if only for the sake of a decent stein of good German bier.

The little four-wheeler on the right is (I understand) fresh back from what used to be called the old Paris-Dakar rally but now starts from err…somewhere else and finishes…errr……somewhere different too. (I wasn't really paying too much attention to it). Nevertheless, I WAS impressed by the liberal use of colour-co-ordinated gaffer tape around the front bumper which had obviously taken some pretty heavy duty whacks along the way as had the sump guard.

The eight-legger on the left appears to be something that would normally trundle out of pod three carried by Thunderbird 2……(no NOT the yellow underwater one the big green flying one......errr duh!)
