[Called , if I recall, the Ranger'] Today, VW gets Scania, which is, in turn, supplied with axle components by Raba. Thereby suggesting that it's a small world....."

Nice One. I think I sent some pictures of the VW-cabbed Raba in to the blog a while back when the Brazillian VW medium heavyweights with the same cab were featured. Those pictures were just black and white though.

The cab has had a long and full life for a unit that appears to have a somewhat limited potential.It's appeared on VW, MAN, Raba, Kenworth (called the K300) and Peterbilt ("Midranger") chassis, and I think Pegaso also briefly built a vehicle with the cab too.
