The agreement, Scania's largest ever in the Netherlands, is based on customer-tailored financing and a repair and maintenance contract.

Most of the trucks, powered by 420 hp engines in Euro 4 configuration, will be delivered in 2007.

”Engines that meet the Euro 4 exhaust requirements with EGR technology were one of the demands of Vos Logistics. Only two manufacturers are able to offer this and the customer chose Scania ahead of MAN”, says Anders Grundstrmer, Managing Director of Scania Benelux.

Vos Logistics is one of Europe's leading transport companies and has an in-house fleet of about 3,000 vehicles. Most of them cover international routes.
