Trumac to Celebrate its Platinum Anniversary During 2007

Document Actions
2007 marks a special anniversary in the commercial vehicle industry with the Trumac Group celebrating 70 years of CV bodybuilding at its site in Westbury, Wiltshire.

Back in 1937, the company was known as C W Godden, and it was formed to manufacture bodywork for transporting milk churns that were also manufactured on the same site.

C W Godden was the forerunner to what eventually became The Trumac Group, now recognised as one of the UK’s most experienced and skilled bodybuilders.

"Not many company’s serving the commercial vehicle bodybuilding industry have as long and as impressive a pedigree as Trumac.

“For 70 years, this site has been an active and key player in this market place and today, the company has a deserving reputation for manufacturing top quality products and services," said Jarvis MacDonald, Managing Director, Trumac Group, announcing details of the company’s 70th anniversary celebrations.

"2007 is a important year in our long history here at Westbury, with a further £1/2m investment in new facilities due to take place shortly, and a number of platinum anniversary celebrations planned throughout the year," added Jarvis MacDonald.

Further information about the full range of products and services available from The Trumac Group can be obtained by contacting the Sales Department at The Trumac Group on 01373 821600.
