Thursday 1st June 2006 is the closing date for entries and candidates will then take part in a skills test at Kilmarnock College in Ayrshire.

The practical assessment held on 15/16 June, will be based on the eight major vehicle components; braking systems, cooling, engine, fuel, transmission, steering, suspension and electrical. The investigations will be 30 minutes for each section.
